Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g almonds, peeled and ground
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 250 g butter
- 3 tbsp liqueur (Amaretto, Baileys or similar)
- 75 g dark chocolate coating
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Mix the almonds with the sugar, flour, and cocoa in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Melt the butter over low heat. Pour it into the center along with the liqueur. Mix all ingredients until a smooth dough forms. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Then, using your hands, form the dough into walnut-sized balls. Place these on a floured baking sheet and flatten the balls with a spatula or knife. Bake on the middle rack at 180°C for about 8-10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and let cool. Melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath and sandwich it between two cookies. Dust with powdered sugar.
