Lamb’s Lettuce Bornholm Style
The perfect lamb’s lettuce bornholm style recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Potatoes
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Grapeseed oil
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 tbsp Broth
- Salt pepper
- Cane sugar at will
- 150 g Lamb’S lettuce
- 1 smaller Apple
- 100 g Sliced smoked salmon
- Boil the potatoes in their skins in salted water, drain, peel and mash them in a bowl with a fork.
- Boil the eggs hard for about 8 minutes, quench and chop.
- Whisk the oil, apple cider vinegar and the broth in a salad bowl.
- Gradually stir the oil mixture into the mashed potatoes to a sauce and season with salt, pepper and sugar.
- Clean lettuce, carefully cutting off the roots, washing and spinning dry.
- Divide the salad on plates.
- Wash and dry apples, remove core and cut into thin slices.
- Spread the chaff and apple slices on the salad.
- Cut the smoked salmon into strips and also pour over the salad.
- Drizzle over the salad sauce and serve immediately.
