Lamb’s Lettuce Italian Style
The perfect lamb’s lettuce italian style recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Lamb’S lettuce
- 1 piece Avocado
- 150 g Mozzarella
- 4 Discs Toast
- 150 g Bacon slices
- 150 Milliliters Vegetable broth warm
- 4 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sugar
For the dressing
- Mix the broth with balsamic vinegar, tomato paste, mustard, oil, salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
For the salad
- Clean, wash and spin dry the lettuce.
- Fry the bacon without fat and let it cool down.
- Toast the toast slices and cut them into cubes.
- Cut the avocado into wedges and the mozzarella into thin slices.
- Now distribute the lamb’s lettuce on deep plates, pour the avocado, mozzarella and the dressing on top.
- Spread the toast cubes on top and garnish with the bacon.
TIP – TIP – TIP
- For my veggie day I of course leave out the bacon and mozzarella and instead fry a piece of Haloumi cheese. This in cubes over the salad. mmmh yummy.
