Lamb's lettuce with bacon cubes and balsamic vinegar

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g lamb’s lettuce
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g bacon cubes
  • 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • n. B. water
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thoroughly wash, trim, and pat dry the lamb’s lettuce. Arrange it on two plates. Peel the onion and dice it into small pieces. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Fry the onions and bacon until crispy. Deglaze with balsamic vinegar and simmer over high heat until reduced. Let cool and season with salt and pepper. Add water and sour cream to taste and for consistency. Drizzle the mixture over the salad and serve.
