Lamb's lettuce with balsamic vinaigrette

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 50 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 25 ml water, lukewarm
  • 25 g sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp sea salt
  • 150 ml olive oil
  • n. B. Pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and trim the lamb’s lettuce. For the vinaigrette, dissolve the salt and sugar in lukewarm water, then let it cool. Add the balsamic vinegar and mix well, then season with pepper. Finally, add the olive oil and gently mix with the vinegar solution. Serve the lamb’s lettuce and mix in the vinaigrette. Tip: I like to prepare a larger batch. This will keep well in the refrigerator for a few days if it’s tightly sealed. For the perfect flavor, be sure to remove it from the refrigerator half an hour before serving.
