Lamb's lettuce with cherry tomatoes and walnuts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g lamb’s lettuce, cleaned
  • 1 small onion(s), red
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • Walnuts, amount as desired
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 3 tbsp oil (nut oil)
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • Sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

For the salad, finely dice the onion, wash, dry, and halve the cherry tomatoes, and halve, or even better, quarter, the walnuts. For the dressing, combine the vinegar, nut oil, and 1-2 teaspoons of mustard. Season gently with salt, freshly ground black pepper, sugar, and lemon juice. Now either mix the salad ingredients and dressing in a bowl and serve, or arrange them directly on plates as a decorative appetizer. We usually make a double batch, as the salad simply tastes so good. If you like, you can use a little more dressing for the same amount of salad, depending on your taste.
