Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 250 g jam (blackcurrant)

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 7 hours 40 minutes

Something different on the cookie plate for Christmas

Mix butter, powdered sugar, eggs, flour, and almonds into a dough. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and spread 1/4 of the dough on it. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C. Repeat with the remaining dough to make four sheets. Let the sheets cool. Spread jam on three sheets, then stack the four sheets on top of each other. Weigh the sheets down with a heavy object and let stand overnight. The next day, use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut hearts out of the four stacked sheets and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
