Layered salad with fried onions

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 small jar of mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup of fried onions, bought ready-made

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

quick, easy

Cut the iceberg lettuce and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces. Meanwhile, drain the corn. Layer the ingredients in a bowl as follows: first the iceberg lettuce, then the bell pepper pieces, and finally the corn. Mix the dressing ingredients and season with salt and pepper, then pour over the corn layer. Just before serving, scatter the fried onions over the dressing.
