Lazy Berry

The perfect lazy berry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Fresh strawberries
  • 500 g Quark lean
  • 300 ml Low fat milk
  • 0,5 piece Lemon fresh
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp Cocoa powder
  • 3 Egg
  • 100 ml Coffee (drink)
  • 3 tbsp Margarine for cooking
  1. Make coffee and sweeten it. (Sweetener a little more than usual; sweetener is sufficient for the health-conscious) Wash the strawberries and cut them into slices.
  2. Separate eggs and beat egg whites into egg whites in a separate bowl. (If it does not come off the bowl when you tilt it, it is just right) In a second bowl, stir in the flour, vanilla sugar, sugar, milk, egg yolk and salt. Fold in the egg whites and bake in a coated pan (with margarine) to make fluffy pancakes.
  3. Stir the quark with the juice of half a lemon, milk (you can also use soy milk), a pinch of salt and sugar until creamy. Put the pancakes in a baking dish and soak them with coffee. Then distribute the strawberries and cover the quark cream as well. Keep two beautiful strawberries as decoration and place them in the middle. Sprinkle a teaspoon of cocoa on top and you’re done!
