Leaf Salad with Fruits and Tuna Cream
The perfect leaf salad with fruits and tuna cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the salad:
- 1 Pc. Lollo rosso
- 1 Pc. Romaine lettuce
- 1 bunch Arugula
- 1 bunch Balsamic vinegar
- 15 Pc. Cherry tomatoes
- 15 Pc. Grapes
- 1 Pc. Peach
- 0,5 Pc. Honeydew melon
- 1 Handful Pumpkin seeds
- 1 Handful Sunflower seeds
For the dressing:
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp White balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
For the tuna cream:
- 2 packet Cream cheese
- Creme fraiche Cheese
- 2 Can Tuna
- 2 tbsp Capers
- Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sugar
For the salad:
- Wash the lettuce thoroughly and tear it into small pieces. Coarsely chop the rocket and basil. Cut the tomatoes and the fruit into small pieces. Roast the pumpkin & sunflower seeds in a pan without fat.
For the dressing:
- Mix all ingredients with the whisk for a long time. Taste! Pour the dressing over the salad, mix and sprinkle with the roasted grains.
For the tuna cream:
- Put all the ingredients in a tall container and puree with the hand blender. Round off to taste with the specified ingredients. Serve the tuna cream in an extra bowl with the lettuce. Ideally with a slice of fresh wholemeal bread or a piece of baquette.
