- 500 g Potato
- 1 tbsp Vinegar essence
- 1,5 liter Water
- Salt
- Remove the peel from the potatoes, cut the remaining shape into French fries. Bring water to a boil. Pour boiling water and vinegar essence into the bowl, add strips of French fries and let rest for 5 minutes. Pour into a sieve and let cool / dry flat on a kitchen towel.
- Preheat the deep fryer to 140 ° C and pre-fry the potato strips for 3 minutes. Let cool again on a cloth or in a colander. It is important that they have really cooled down. Now heat the deep fryer to 175 ° C and bake the French fries in it until they are golden brown.
