Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pc. puff pastry
- 2 stalk(s) leeks
- 250 g ham, cooked
- 30 g butter
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 50 g cheese (Emmental), grated
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
- salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp butter, liquid
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Halve the leeks lengthwise and cut into thin strips, along with the ham. Melt the butter and sauté the leek strips and then the ham strips for a few minutes. Let cool slightly. Then stir in the chopped parsley, cheese, crème fraîche, and mustard, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to approximately 200°C. Roll out the puff pastry, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread the leek and ham mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a border free, tuck in the ends slightly, and then roll up from the long side. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with the egg yolk whisked with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
