Leek Vegetables According to Grandma’s Recipe
The perfect leek vegetables according to grandma’s recipe recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Rods Leek
- 30 g Branded butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 tablespoon Water
- 6 tablespoon Cream
- 1 kl. bunch Chopped parsley
- Note 1: Leek as a vegetable is extremely tasty and I find it unfortunate that so many people only use the delicious sticks in soups and stews. The vegetables are so quick and so uncomplicated to make, and also very healthy, which grandma already knew … so here is her recipe:
- Remove the dark green leaves from the leeks and wash them under running water, then cut into pieces.
- Briefly fry the butter with a pinch of salt in a saucepan, add the leeks and sauté for 2 minutes, then add the water and cook the vegetables with the lid on for about 6 minutes. Stir in the cream and finish cooking for another 4 minutes. Season with chopped parsley and serve. Good Appetite!!
