Leek vegetables with minute steaks

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 stalk(s) leeks
  • 4 minute steak(s) of pork
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 cube of stock
  • salt and pepper
  • Barbecue seasoning, optional
  • nutmeg
  • 50 g bacon cubes, fried, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Slice and wash the leek into rings, then boil in a pot of water for about 15 minutes. Just before the leek is cooked, crush the stock cube and add it, then simmer gently. Heat a large pan and cook the steaks, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add Grill & Steak seasoning if desired. When the steaks are done, remove them from the pan. Pour 1/2 cup of the leek stock into the pan, add the leek, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, and simmer over low heat. Then add 1/2 cup of cream and season again to taste. Divide the steaks and leek between 2 plates. You can also add fried bacon to the leek mixture.
