Leeks – Casserole

The perfect leeks – casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 750 g Leek
  • 250 g Cooked ham
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 1 a cup Cream
  • 150 ml Broth
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 125 g Grated Emmentlaer
  • Salt pepper
  • Butter for the mold
  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into slices and blanch them in salted water for 5 – 7 minutes, remove them and place them in a buttered casserole dish.
  2. Cut the cooked ham into cubes and spread over the potatoes.
  3. Mix the cream, cream cheese and broth well, add the grated cheese, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread half of it on the ham.
  5. Clean the leek, cut into slices and blanch in salted water for 3 minutes, remove and drain well in a sieve.
  6. Spread the leek on the sauce and pour the remaining sauce over it.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° for about 30 minutes.
