Leeks – Rice with Oleolux

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 4 cups Vegetable broth *
  • **************************
  • 1 tbsp Coconut fat "mild"
  • 1 pole Leek / leek cut
  • 2 tbsp Oleolux *

Instructions
 

  • Cook the rice in the vegetable stock and let it swell a little
  • Swirl the leek a little in the hot coconut oil, do not fry. Allow to cool slightly.
  • Drain the rice and rinse a little, if necessary, put it in a bowl and stir the oleolux into the still hot rice, then add the leek, mix everything well, season a little with pepper and serve as a side dish. We had a salad with it and you will definitely find one or the other here in my cookbook 🙂

  • When I write about a vegetable broth, it is a homemade one, which I either make myself from fresh vegetables shortly beforehand or use my own powder.
  • You can also find the Rz for homemade Oleolux in my cookbook, you can buy it, but that's definitely too expensive for me. Oleolux is now used a lot in my kitchen, e.g. to round off many dishes, or just stir it into a portion of spaghetti ... just try it 🙂
