Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 liters of water, boiled (cold)
  • 4 kg sugar
  • 5 lemon(s), sliced
  • 100 g citric acid
  • 1 bunch of lemon balm
  • some mint

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 30 minutes

for dilution

Mix water with sugar and citric acid until dissolved. Add the herbs and lemons and stir. Let stand for 48 hours, stirring frequently, strain, and bottle. Diluted with tap or mineral water, it makes a cheap and healthy refreshing drink.
