Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 liter orange juice
- 1 liter of water
- 1,000 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Make a syrup from sugar and water. Let it cool slightly, then add the freshly squeezed orange juice and about 1 teaspoon of orange zest. Bring everything back to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain through a sieve and pour into clean bottles while still hot, seal, and store in a cool, dark place. Add to ice cream or pudding, mix with mineral water to make lemonade, or use it to make cocktails.
