Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), grated peel
  • 200 g flour
  • Granulated sugar or powdered sugar for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff. Add the sugar and continue beating until the mixture is glossy. Carefully mix in the lemon zest and flour. Fill a piping bag with the batter and pipe onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the cookies in the center of an oven preheated to 180°C for 12-15 minutes. The cookies can be sprinkled with sugar before baking or dusted with powdered sugar after baking. This recipe makes approximately 50 cookies.
