Lemon ice cream with limoncello

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 150 ml water
  • 220 ml lemon juice
  • 30 ml liqueur (limoncello, lemon liqueur)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for the ice cream machine

Boil the water and sugar, then let it cool again until the sugar dissolves completely. Then add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and limoncello and refrigerate overnight. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then fold both ingredients in. Pour the resulting mixture into the ice cream maker.
