Lemon noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 organic lemons
  • 60 g Parmesan cheese
  • 400 g pasta, short (e.g. penne, short macaroni, etc.)
  • 50 g butter
  • 40 ml cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and dry the lemons. Grate the zest. Coarsely grate the Parmesan cheese. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Melt the butter in a small pan over low heat. Increase the heat to high, add the cream, and season with salt and pepper. Stir in the grated lemon zest and simmer over high heat until the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat. Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately. Drink: Fresh, sparkling white wine.
