Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake

- 125 g Soft butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 0,5 Lemon untreated
- 125 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 20 g Ground poppy seeds
- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp Water
- 8 Chocolate decor hearts
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection 160 degrees). Use the whisk of the hand mixer to stir butter, sugar and 1 pinch of salt for 8-10 minutes until light creamy. Stir in eggs one after the other. Finely rub off the peel of a 1/2 lemon Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from the lemon.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, poppy seeds and lemon zest. Mix the flour mixture and lemon juice into the batter alternately.
- Grease a bundt pan (16 cm in diameter) with a little butter. Fill in the dough and bake in the hot oven in the lower third of the oven on a wire rack for about 50 minutes.
- Mix the icing sugar and water until smooth and brush the cake with it. Immediately place the chocolate hearts on top.
