Lemon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 handful of basil, freshly chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the butter and mix with the flour. Add the mustard and tomato paste. Deglaze with the milk and bring to a boil briefly. Add the lemon juice and sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Whisk the cream until stiff peaks form and stir in. Simmer for 20 minutes and add the basil before serving. Serve with tagliatelle and chicken breast fillet.
