Lemon Snowflakes

The perfect lemon snowflakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Soft butter
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 75 ml Cream
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Lemon flavor
  • 0,75 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 330 g Sifted flour
  • Colorful sugar decor
  1. Mix the butter with sugar until creamy. Mix in the cream, egg, lemon flavor, baking powder and salt until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  1. Then fold in the sifted flour with a wooden spoon. Knead briefly and wrap in cling film in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  1. Roll out the dough 3-5 mm thick. Cut out different shapes as you like. Then poke small holes in it with a straw. If desired, sprinkle with colored sugar decorations and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 10-12 minutes until golden yellow. Allow to cool and store in airtight cans.
