Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 120 g margarine
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 6 sheets of gelatin
  • 100 g margarine
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp limoncello
  • 200 g chocolate coating
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 150 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Sift flour, baking powder, and powdered sugar into a bowl. Add margarine, lemon zest, egg yolk, and lemon juice and knead everything into a smooth dough. Halve the dough and knead the cocoa powder into one half. Wrap both doughs in cling film and chill for 30 minutes. Roll out the light dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3 mm and cut out stars about 4 cm in size. Do the same with the dark dough. Place the stars on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. For the cream, soak the gelatine in cold water. Remove from the water, squeeze out the excess water, and dissolve it in a little hot water. Stir the lemon juice and zest into the gelatine. Add the margarine, powdered sugar, and limoncello and beat until fluffy. Using the cream, assemble one light and one dark star. Melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath and coat one side of the star with it. Place it on a wire rack to dry. Once the chocolate coating has dried, make the glaze for the other side. To do this, mix 150g of powdered sugar with the juice of one lemon. Now coat the other side of the star with this glaze.
