Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), red, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 g lentils (can, with soup vegetables)
  • 1 pinch of anise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 red chili pepper(s), chopped
  • Salt and pepper, pepper, cumin
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

  • 200 g yogurt
  • 1 tbsp mint, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives, in rolls
  • 1 garlic clove(s), pressed

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

simple, quick and delicious – but clever!

Knead the minced meat with egg, onion, garlic, oat flakes, tomato paste, lemon juice, anise, chili, salt, pepper, and cumin, then stir in the lentils. Grease a shallow baking dish and spread the mixture about 2 cm high, pressing it down. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley before serving. Mix the yogurt with the mint, chives, and garlic, season with sugar, salt, and pepper, and serve with salad and bread.
