Chickpea and minced meat pan with feta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 small cans of chickpeas, approx. 400 g each
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 3 tsp ajvar
  • 3 tsp tomato paste
  • chili flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • cumin
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the ground meat. Finely chop the onions, garlic, and bell peppers and fry them with the ground meat. Drain the chickpeas and add them to the pan. Add half a can of water and mix with the ajvar and tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper, parsley, and cumin. Add chili flakes, if desired. Reduce heat. Crumble the feta cheese and stir in. Serve with flatbread.
