Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g lentils, red
  • 250 g oat flakes
  • 1 large onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • n. B. Salt, approx. 1 – 2 tsp
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • possibly flour if required
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

vegan, protein-rich

Cook the lentils according to the package instructions, then add them to a bowl with the other finely chopped ingredients, 2 tablespoons of oil, and the spices. Knead everything thoroughly and form the mixture into patties. If the patties are too sticky, simply dust with a little flour. Then fry in batches in hot oil in a pan.
