Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g lentils, e.g. B. Gourmet or Beluga
- 2 onions, diced
- 1 carrot(s), grated
- 1 garlic clove(s), pressed
- n. B. herbal salt
- n. B. Fresh herbs, e.g. parsley, chives
- Paprika powder
- pepper
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 25 minutes
without flour, makes about 10 patties
Cover the lentils with water and soak overnight. Discard any excess water the next day. Mince or puree the lentils, onions, carrots, and garlic. Mix with spices and herbs. With wet hands, form flat patties and fry slowly in oil until browned. Variation: Add ground hazelnuts and/or grated cheese.
