Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g whole wheat flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 apples (Boskoop)
  • 250 ml low-fat milk
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 30 g almonds, chopped
  • some butter to grease the mold
  • n. B. Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Without butter

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, cinnamon, salt, and a little milk in a mixing bowl and mix everything together well. Gradually add the remaining milk. Peel the apples, remove the cores, cut the flesh into small pieces, and then fold them well into the batter. Pour the apple and batter mixture into a greased baking pan; a 28 cm tart pan is best. Spread the chopped almonds evenly over the batter. Bake on the middle rack for 35 minutes. Let cool thoroughly after baking. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. If you like, you can also mix a few raisins into the batter.
