Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 package of leaf spinach, fresh or frozen
- 1 package of pizza dough
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 1 package of cherry tomatoes
- 250 g Gouda or mozzarella, grated
- 1 jar pesto (basil pesto)
- Garlic powder or 1 crushed garlic clove
- some flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Spread the prepared dough on a floured baking sheet. Cook the spinach leaves in a pan with salt, pepper, and garlic. If using frozen spinach, thaw it beforehand and season as directed. Mix the crème fraîche and pesto in a 3:2 ratio. Spread the resulting pesto mixture on the pizza dough instead of tomato sauce. Spread the spinach evenly on top. Slice the cherry tomatoes and arrange them on top of the spinach. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven at approximately 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 12-15 minutes.
