Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 240 g tartar
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 60 g light sheep’s cheese
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • Caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

WW suitable

First, crush the garlic and mix it with the tartar. Then season the meat with the spices and parsley. I always like to use frozen parsley, but fresh parsley works just as well. Finally, knead in the egg. Divide the minced meat mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into small oval flatbreads. Cut the feta cheese into 8 equal portions, wrap each piece of cheese in a piece of minced meat, and shape into a meatball. Fry the meatballs/bifteki in the oil. Suitable side dishes include coleslaw, tzatziki, flatbread, or tomato rice. Each bifteki contains 1 portion (calculated according to the old WW system). For us, the 8 bifteki are enough for 2 people.
