Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Combine with the ground beef, egg, and breadcrumbs to form a meat batter. Season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the thyme and rosemary and mix into the meat batter – use salt sparingly, as the feta cheese is also salted. Preheat the oven to 220°C. Grease a piece of aluminum foil with olive oil, spread the meat batter on it, and spread the feta cheese on top. Roll it into a log and place it in a baking dish greased with olive oil. Wash and peel the potatoes, cut each into 4 wedges, and place them around the roast. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with a little olive oil. Place the whole thing in the preheated oven for about 55-65 minutes. Serve with coleslaw or green beans as a side dish.
