Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g spirals
  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 100 g spring onions
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 100 g cucumber(s)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 250 g cooked ham
  • 2 tbsp, heaped parsley, fresh or frozen
  • 1 shot of water, warm
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Balsamic vinegar Bianco

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 32 minutes

no mayonnaise, no salad dressing, only cream cheese

Cook the pasta in salted water until slightly al dente. Meanwhile, thinly slice the spring onions, and dice the bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, and ham. Mix the cream cheese with water and mustard. Season the cream generously with salt, pepper, sugar, and vinegar and mix with the not-quite-cooled pasta. Now fold in the parsley and the chopped ingredients. Season to taste and refrigerate for a few hours. Calories can be reduced by adjusting the pasta type and using lighter cream cheese, as well as ham.
