- 1 Fl Double grain 38%
- 1 Bd Basil
- 375 g Sugar
- Lemon peel
- Pluck the leaves from the basil or take a few stems (approx. 6-8) from the small-leaved basil. Put in a large glass. Top up the grain or vodka. Cut 2 thin strips of peel from a lemon with a peeler and add to the basil. Close the jar. Let it steep for 2 1/2 days.
- Bring the sugar to the boil with 550 ml water while stirring, allow to cool. Pass the grain through a cloth, then mix with the sugar water. Fill into decorative bottles and enjoy.
