Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

also very tasty with peaches or apricots

Peel the nectarines and cut them into pieces. Bring the water to a boil, dissolve the sugar in it, add the juice of the two lemons and the fruit pieces, and simmer gently for a few (2-3) minutes. Meanwhile, rinse freshly rinsed bottles (for about 1.5 liters of liqueur) with hot water. Remove the pot from the heat, add the rum, and stir well. Immediately pour into the bottles (while still hot) and seal them airtight. My girls love the liqueur; my boyfriend always calls it “Weibergesöff” (women’s liquor).
