Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 150 g margarine
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Cherry jam
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp cherry liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

Prepare a shortcrust pastry from flour, baking powder, sugar, ground hazelnuts, margarine, and egg and chill for about two hours. Roll out the dough and cut out hearts. Place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. Once cooled, stick two hearts together with cherry jam. For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with the hot cherry liqueur until smooth and thick. Brush the hearts with this glaze.
