Creamed cinnamon stars

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 350 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 70 g sugar
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp, heaped cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 45 minutes

Make a dough from flour, butter, egg yolks, sugar, and crème fraîche and chill for one to two hours. Roll out the dough, not too thin, cut out stars, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle generously over the cookies. Bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes. This recipe yields approximately 50 stars.
