Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 3 tbsp milk, cold
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 tsp, leveled baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

A recipe from my grandma, for 15 pieces

Mix the vanilla pudding powder with cold milk, stir together all ingredients, and stir in the mixed vanilla pudding powder. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place dough balls on it (about 1 1/2 tablespoons in size). Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven after 10 minutes and brush with milk. Once cooled, the American cookies can be covered with chocolate glaze or icing.
