Ingredients

Basic recipe for muffins (approx. 12 pieces in a 100g jar of yogurt)

  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 cup Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 cup Oil
  • Milk
  • Chocolate sprinkles

For decoration

  • 4 Wafer paper
  • Dark couverture
  • White couverture

Instructions

Preparation of the muffin batter

  • Mix the yoghurt, sugar and vanilla sugar to a smooth mass. Add the eggs and stir. Add flour and baking powder and stir. Finally stir in the oil. If the dough is too firm, it can be diluted with a little milk. If you like, you can add a few more chocolate sprinkles. Put the dough in muffin molds and bake at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes. Let the muffins cool down.

Monkey decoration

  • While the muffins are cooling, melt the couverture. Glue 2 baking wafers together using a dollop of white couverture. Cut away 1/3 of 2 other wafers. Use a sharp knife to cut 1/3 of the muffin on both sides. Insert the cut wafers into the cut. Brush the muffins with white and / or brown couverture. Place the double wafers on the still soft chocolate. With a brush, piping bag, etc., paint two eyes on the upper wafer and a mouth on the lower one. The muffins are ready - child's play and an eye-catcher at every party and children's birthday party.
