Lobster sauce – quick, easy and delicious

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g lobster paste
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 shallots

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely dice the shallots. Heat the lobster paste in a small saucepan and add the shallots. Sauté for 5 minutes. Then add the cream and milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and puree everything with an immersion blender. Return the pan to the heat, season the sauce with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and simmer for another 3 minutes. This goes well with any fish! Serve with a delicious baguette and a salad—simply delicious!
