Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pineapple
- butter
- 1 jar of tropical fruit jam
- 50 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel the pineapple, cut it into approximately 2 cm thick slices, and cut a hole in the center. Melt a nut-sized portion of butter in a hot pan. Add the sugar and cook until caramelized. Briefly toss the pineapple slices in the butter. Arrange the pineapple slices on plates and fill the hole with a spoonful of fruit jam. If you prefer a less greasy texture, use olive oil instead of butter.
