Low-carb chocolate cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 m.-large egg whites
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 15 g cocoa powder (baking cocoa)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 20 g almond(s), ground
  • 5 dashes sweetener
  • n. B. Fruit, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. Separately, mix the low-fat quark, milk, 1 egg yolk, ground almonds, and sweetener until creamy. Then add the egg whites and sprinkle with cocoa powder (I used about 15g—you can use more or less, depending on how chocolatey you want it to taste). Mix the cocoa powder well with the remaining mixture. The almonds aren’t necessary, but they make the cream firmer and more flavorful. If you like, you can also mix in a little fruit (strawberries work well). Then refrigerate for about 1 hour.
