Low-carb low-fat quark breakfast with lots of protein

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 50 ml milk, 1.5% fat
  • 150 g strawberries, frozen
  • 1 m.-sized banana(s)
  • 1 m.-sized apple
  • small jar of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place frozen strawberries in a bowl with a little water. Microwave at 900W for about 1 minute 40 seconds. Mix low-fat quark with milk (depending on desired consistency/calorie needs) in a bowl until creamy. Cut the banana and apple into smaller pieces. Add the strawberries and the liquid to the bowl with the quark. Mix thoroughly until the quark is light pink. Add the fruit, stir, and serve. This recipe is truly filling and, despite the low-fat quark, isn’t bitter. I recommend adding a little fruit to each spoonful—it tastes especially good!
