Low-carb marble cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 tbsp baking cocoa
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp milk, 1.5%
  • n. B. Vanilla flavor
  • n. B. Liquid sweetener

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

without butter, without sugar

Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff peaks form. Beat the egg yolks with the vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of hot water, and the sweetener until frothy. Combine the flour and baking powder. Gently mix everything together. The batter should be very runny and fluffy. Mix half of the batter with the cocoa powder and the milk. Now alternately layer the batters in a loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving. Note: This recipe uses very little sweetening for the cake. If you prefer a sweeter texture, you may want to add more sweetener.
