Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 bell peppers
- 2 carrots
- 500 g tomatoes, pureed
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion(s)
- 500 g minced meat
- some beef broth powder
- some marjoram
- some oregano
- salt and pepper
- some olive oil for frying
- 200 g grated cheese, e.g. Gouda, Edam, gratin cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Chop the onion and garlic and fry in olive oil. Then add the minced meat and fry. Add the vegetables and fry briefly. Add the passata and season with marjoram, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Then transfer to a casserole dish and bake in the oven at 160°C with the grated cheese for about 40 minutes, until a nice cheese crust forms. A mixed salad goes very well with this dish. Tip: For those who don’t want to eat a purely low-carb diet, side dishes such as bulgur wheat, rice, etc. are also suitable.
