Low-carb mushroom burger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 m.-large mushrooms
  • 200 g minced beef
  • 4 small cherry tomatoes
  • 3 slices of processed cheese
  • 6 slices of cucumber
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • some sesame
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the ground beef with the breadcrumbs, egg, and seasonings. Fry 6 small burger patties in a pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and carefully split the caps with a knife to create a base and a small lid. Brown the mushrooms on all sides in a pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Top the cooked mushrooms with the remaining ingredients, just like a burger. Tip: There are no limits to the topping ingredients. Onion rings would also be a good choice. It’s great for parties, or you can make a slightly larger version with really large mushrooms.
