Low-carb quark balls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 140 g quark, of your choice
  • 80 g powder (protein powder)
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Sweetener, liquid
  • Vanilla flavor
  • e.g. oil or fat for frying
  • Sweetener (granulated sweetener) or low carb fruit sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with protein powder, super fluffy

Mix all ingredients. The dough should ideally be somewhat crumbly, so it’s best to continue kneading by hand until smooth. Heat enough oil or fat (about 4-5 cm deep in a pot or deep fryer), and form the dough into marble-sized balls, as they will expand quite a bit in the fat. If the dough isn’t firm enough, simply scoop out balls with two teaspoons and place them in the hot fat. When the balls are golden brown all over, drain them on kitchen paper and sprinkle with a little sweetener. Serve with your favorite fruit sauce.
