Low-Carb Semolina Porridge

The delicious low-carb version of semolina pudding has only a few calories and is therefore ideal for losing weight. You only need a few ingredients to prepare it.

Semolina porridge made from psyllium husks

If you are looking for a low-carb version of the semolina pudding, psyllium husks are ideal. These are low in carbs and calories, making them perfect for losing weight. You need the following ingredients for this:

  • 3 teaspoons psyllium husk
  • 300ml milk
  • For a high protein variant: 30 g vanilla protein powder
  • A sweetener of your choice.

Low-carb semolina porridge: how to prepare it

When you have all the ingredients together, you can start preparing:

  1. First mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Then put the bowl in the fridge for about half an hour.
  3. The psyllium husks thicken with the milk, giving the mixture the consistency of semolina porridge. If it is still too runny, you can add more psyllium husks.
  4. Finally, you can add toppings of your choice to the finished porridge. Fruit, for example, goes perfectly with the low-carb semolina porridge.
