Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g minced beef or other minced meat, e.g. mixed minced meat
- onion(s)
- 30 g cheese, e.g. Emmental
- 2 tomatoes and some juice from the can
- tsp mustard
- dash of vinegar
- some Worcestershire sauce
- some thyme, dried
- some oregano, dried
- some salt
- some pepper
- some oil for frying, e.g. sunflower oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Add a little oil to the pan and fry the minced meat. Slice the onions, e.g., into rings, and then add them to the pan. Add the canned tomatoes and a little liquid to the meat and onion pan, along with the thyme, oregano, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and mustard. Simmer until some of the tomato juice has evaporated and a smooth mixture has formed. Finally, stir in the cheese. This makes a great burger bun or a quark and egg flatbread made with quark, cheese, and egg. 1 serving has approximately 2189 kJ/523 kcal – 11.5 g carbs.
